Yesterday, April 14th, 2013, elections were held in Venezuela due to the death of the iron fisted Venezuelan leader, Hugo Chavez. The two popular candidates were Henrique Capriles Radonski, former candidate who ran against Chavez in the previous election, and Nicolas Maduro, Venezuelan vice president and interim president after Chavez passed away.
